Tour Antelope Canyon & Horseshoe Bend
Next to the Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon is one of the most iconic canyons of the southwest. Sun light beams through the narrow canyon walls then radiates golden light throughout the salmon colored canyon, creating an incredibly unique geological environment. Antelope Canyon is attractive to photographers and sightseers because of the sculpturesque pink flowing sandstone walls. Our Native American guide will guide us through this sacred canyon. The hike is a fairly rugged and requires about one and a half hour of walking through sand, over small sandstone obstacles and several flights of stairs.
After lunch, we will visit Horseshoe Bend which has been made famous on Instagram. This natural bend in the Colorado River cuts through red Wingate sandstone with views of the river over 1,000 feet below. We will have about 45min to take in the grandeur of this spectacular geologic formation. On our way home we will pass the Vermilion Cliffs, the Painted Desert and on the right day with good conditions we have an opportunity to see the Grand Canyon from a distance.
Due to the popularity and the natural hazards of this tour we will contact you 48 hours before the tour to ensure that the canyon is open, some times we are given less notice. Due to safety concerns, this tour will not operate unless conditions are optimal. If our tour cancels and is unable to move to a different date, the tour will be 100% refundable.
